This policy applies to all Wildlife Helicopters employees at all their locations.

Notice, Collection, Use and Retention of PII

Provide notice and choice to individuals regarding information collection and use.

  • Review purpose of PII collected, used and retained for appropriate business needs annually or as needed

  • Access will be physically and logically restricted and limited to only those employees of Wildlife Helicopters with a valid business need to access PII.

  • PII will be reviewed annually by Wildlife Helicopters to help ensure that better commercial practices are in place to obtain and protect PII.

  • The Information Officer will work to help ensure that reviews are complete and accurate.

  • The Information Officer will help ensure that collection and use of policies comply with relevant privacy and data protection laws and regulations i.e. POPI Act.

  • The Information Officer will provide oversight for all third-party relationships, helping ensure that authorized third parties are notified of and agree to conform to Wildlife Helicopters Data Privacy Policy.

  • If a breach of this policy is suspected, the Information Officer must be notified.
